Why are online prices different from what shows in my POS?

By default, Checkmate integrations use the prices specified in the POS, not the prices on the ordering platforms. This means the POS is the source of truth for pricing, and any difference between online and POS prices reflects markup applied at the ordering platform level.

If a percentage-based surcharge or service fee needs to be applied to the POS price for online orders, contact the Checkmate Onboarding or Support team to set this up.
