About Discounted Items

Discounted Items are specific menu items that are either Required or Discounted as part of a Reward, Deal, or Promo Code.

• Required items are the items a customer must purchase to qualify for the discount.
• Discounted items are the items a customer receives at a discounted price, or for free, once they qualify.

For example, consider a Buy One, Get One Free deal on sandwiches:

• The sandwich the customer buys is a Required item.
• The sandwich the customer receives for free is a Discounted item.

This configuration tells the system which items trigger the discount and which items are included in the offer.
