What are Rewards?
Rewards are incentives granted within a loyalty program to recognize and engage customers. They can be earned through various activities, such as making purchases or interacting with the brand, and redeemed for benefits like discounts, free items, or exclusive offers.
How to Create Rewards
To create Reward within your loyalty program, follow these steps: While creating a new reward, fill in the following details:
- Name: Enter the name of the reward.

Discount Type: Select the type of discount:
- Percentage: The discount amount is a percentage of the total order.
- Dollar Amount: The discount is a fixed dollar amount off the total order.
- Minimum Discount Amount: Set in dollars (input '0.00' for no minimum). This is the lowest discount amount that can be applied when this reward is redeemed.
- Maximum Discount Amount: Set in dollars (input '0.00' for no maximum). This cap limits the highest discount amount that can be applied per order.
- Minimum Order Size: Specify the minimum order value in dollars required to use this reward (input '0.00' for no minimum).
- Maximum Order Size: Specify the maximum order value in dollars beyond which the reward cannot be applied (input '0.00' for no maximum).
- Points Shop Cost: Input the number of points required to redeem the reward (to two decimal places, or leave blank if not applicable).

Order Type: Choose from the available order types:
- All: The reward can be applied to any order type.
- OLO: The reward is valid for OLO orders.
- Catering: The reward is specifically for catering orders.
- Merch: The reward applies to merchandise purchases.

Service Type: Select applicable service types:
- All: Reward applicable to all service types.
- Dine-In: Reward valid for dine-in services.
- Pick-Up: Reward can be used for pick-up orders.
- Delivery: Reward applicable for delivery orders.

Channel Type: Choose the applicable sales channels:
- All: Reward is valid across all channels.
- Kiosk: Reward can be redeemed at kiosk stations.
- Online: Reward is valid for online transactions.
- App: Reward can be used within a mobile app.
- Phone: Reward applies to phone orders.
- Days Valid: Optional; specify the number of days the discount remains valid from the start date.
- Start Date and End Date: Define the calendar period during which the reward is valid.
- Start Time and End Time: Specify the daily time range (e.g., 9 AM to 5 PM) during which the reward can be redeemed.
- Title: Provide a concise title for the reward (up to 256 characters).
- Short Description: Give a brief description of the reward (up to 256 characters).
- Description: Offer a detailed description of the reward (up to 1024 characters).
- Total Rewards per Order: Indicate the maximum number of times this reward can be used per order.
- Active: Check if the reward is to be active immediately upon creation.
- Taxed: Indicate if the reward should be subject to sales tax.
- Reusable: Specify if the reward can be used multiple times by the same customer.
- Before Surcharge: Choose if the discount should be applied before calculating any surcharges on the order.
