Creating a New Email Campaign
Follow the steps below to create and schedule a new email campaign.
Email Content Overview
After a campaign is created, selecting Blank Canvas allows the email content to be customized. Saved content can also be added when selected. Learn more about saved content here.
The following options are available when creating the email content:
1. Campaign Details: view and edit the campaign Name and Description.
2. Email Settings: view and edit the email settings. The editable options are Subject, Preview Text, Sender Name, and Reply to Email.
3. Toggle Between Desktop and Mobile: switch between an email's desktop and mobile views. Edits can be made to each view.
4. Add Email Content: drag and drop content into this area to add it to the email.
5. Default Content That Cannot Be Removed: certain sections of the email are required, such as disclaimers. Hovering over a required section displays a lock icon.
6. Content, Rows, and Settings Menus: this section has three menus for adding content, managing rows, and adjusting overall settings.
7. Toggle Gridlines, Preview, and Email Menu: provides the following:
- Toggle Gridlines: turn the gridlines on or off in the email preview.
- Preview Email: preview the email, with the option to toggle between desktop and mobile. The message can also be previewed in dark mode by toggling the Dark Mode Preview option.
- Email Menu: opens a dropdown menu with additional options.
8. Last Saved Time Stamp, Save, and Exit: the upper right corner shows the last saved time stamp and provides options to save the email and exit edit mode.
Content, Rows, and Settings Menu
Various content can be added to the email while creating the email content. The menu on the right side has three tabs: Content, Rows, and Settings.

The Content section is used to add and edit content within the email. Content can be dragged and dropped into the email body and changed as needed.
After a type of content is added to the email, the content menu on the right side displays different options based on the added content. A menu also appears beneath the added content with formatting options.
The following content blocks are available:
Text: add text to the email.
Title: add a title block to the email.
Paragraph: add a paragraph block to the email.
Image: add an image to the email.
Video: add a YouTube or Vimeo URL, which displays an image of the video with a play button. Selecting the play button opens YouTube or Vimeo to play the video.
Spacer: add a spacer to separate different content.
Button: add a button to the email, which can be used to open a URL.
Social: add links to social media pages. The social media URL is set under Content Properties.
Divider: add a divider to separate different types of content.
Menu: add menu items to the email. A URL can also be included for each menu item.
List: add a list to the email.
Table: add a table to the email.
Sending a Test Email From the Email Content Page
A test campaign email can be sent at any time while creating and editing a campaign. The steps below outline how to do so.
Editing a Campaign
An existing campaign can be edited from the Direct Ordering Admin Panel. Follow the steps below to do so.
Rescheduling a Campaign
Scheduled campaigns can be rescheduled from the Direct Ordering Admin Panel. Follow the steps below.
