Within the Checkmate Portal, the “EDIT MENU” function allows you to make edits to the existing menu of a live location, where you can make all edits in one request and submit them for approval.
This guide will help you maneuver the “EDIT MENU” mode and successfully make changes to your menu.
Note: Before you edit your menu in the Checkmate Portal, ensure that all new categories/items/modifier groups/modifiers you wish to add have been added to your POS.
Edit Menu Mode
Follow the steps below to Switch to and Exit “Edit Menu” mode:
Save Changes
Once you have made all the changes to your menu, you can:
Click "Submit For Review" if no further changes are needed.
Select "Cancel" to discard all the changes you've made. This action will delete every change you have implemented.
Submit for Review
If you want our Menu Management team to review the changes to your menu, Click "Submit For Review".
Our team may take up to 48 hours to review and implement the changes. Click "Confirm" to submit the changes for review.
Note: You cannot make any changes during the review until the request is completely reviewed. But you can withdraw your submission at any stage of the review process and make further modifications as needed. Please be aware that if no changes are made to the menu, the "Submit" option will be inactive (grayed out) and cannot be selected during submission.
Push Changes to Ordering Platform
To apply changes directly to the Ordering platform without submitting them for review, simply click "PUSH" at the top of the page.
A "Push to Ordering Platforms" pop-up will display the list of Ordering platforms where the changes will be pushed. Click on "PUSH" to confirm and proceed.
You will receive a success message once all the changes have been successfully completed.
