What is the Driver Wait Time Report?

The Driver Wait Time Analysis Report provides a comprehensive view of driver wait times across various locations and ordering platforms. It highlights areas where improvements can be made to reduce wait times, thus enhancing efficiency and driver satisfaction.

Note: This report is currently available only for DoorDash and Uber Eats. The dashboard updates after 2 days, meaning the displayed information is at least two days old.

Accessing the Report

Follow the steps below to view the Driver Wait Time Report:

Report Overview

The report is divided into two main tabs:

Driver Wait Time: Provides an overview dashboard
Details: Contains a detailed log of driver wait times

Driver Wait Time

Driver Wait Time (mins)

Current Week Average Wait Time: Displays the average wait time (in minutes) for drivers during the current week.
Previous Week Comparison: Compare this week's wait times to the previous week to monitor changes and trends.
Actual vs. Predicted Data The graph features a solid line for actual data and a dotted line for predictions. At week’s end, the dotted line is replaced by actual data, finalizing the representation.

Driver Wait Time by Ordering Platform

This chart compares average wait times for DoorDash and Uber Eats, identifying which platform may contribute to longer wait times.

Impact of Order Volume on Driver Wait Time

This chart demonstrates the relationship between order volume and driver wait times, helping to determine whether increased order volume affects wait times.

Driver Wait Time Weekly Trend

Tracks weekly fluctuations in driver wait times, providing insights into weekly performance and efficiency trends.
Actual vs. Predicted Data The graph features a solid line for actual data and a dotted line for predictions. At week’s end, the dotted line is replaced by actual data, finalizing the representation.

Driver Wait Time by Time of Day

This heatmap displays driver wait times across different times of the day and week, helping identify peak periods of longer waits. The heatmap includes:

Order Placed At: Hour the order was placed
Day of Week: Day of week on which the order was placed
Driver Wait Time (mins): Average wait time during that specific hour

Locations Ranked by Driver Wait Time

Ranks locations by average driver wait times, from longest to shortest. The table includes:

Location Name: Name of the location
Driver Wait Time (mins): Average driver wait time at the location
Orders Contributing to Wait Time: Total number of orders leading to wait time

Driver Wait Time Log: Provides a detailed log of individual driver wait times for further analysis, including:

Order Date: Date the order was placed
Order Number: ID from the ordering platform
Location Name: Name of the location
Ordering Platform: Platform used to place the order
Driver Wait Time: Recorded wait time for the driver on each order
