The Order Cancellations Report provides insights into order cancellations across various store locations and platforms. By revealing trends and root causes of cancellations, it helps improve operational efficiency and reduce financial losses.

Follow the steps below to view the Canceled Order Analysis Report:
Report Overview
The report features two main tabs:
- Cancellation Rate: Provides an overview of cancellations over time
- Details: Contains a detailed log of all cancellations
Cancellation Rate
Cancellation Rate Overview:
- Cancellation Rate Overview This section displays the weekly cancellation rate as a percentage of total orders with a trend line indicating whether the rate is increasing or decreasing.
- Current Week Cancellation Rate Shows the percentage of orders canceled during the current week.
- Previous Week Comparison Compares the current week's cancellation rate with that of the previous week to identify trends.
- Actual vs. Predicted Data The graph features a solid line for actual data and a dotted line for predictions. At week’s end, the dotted line is replaced by actual data, finalizing the representation.
Cancellation Rate by Ordering Platform
- Breaks down total orders and cancellation rates for Uber Eats and DoorDash.
- This chart contains:
- Inner Pie Chart for total canceled orders
- Outer Pie Chart representing total orders received from both platforms.
Uber Eats Order Cancellations by Source
This pie chart illustrates the distribution of order cancellations among customers, restaurants, and other reasons.
DoorDash Order Cancellations: Root Cause Analysis
Provides a detailed analysis of the primary reasons behind DoorDash order cancellations.
Cancellation Rate Trend

Location-wise Cancellation Rate

- Location Name: Name of the location
- Total Canceled Orders: Number of orders canceled
- Total Orders: Includes successful, canceled, and missing orders
- Cancellation Rate %: The cancellation rate percentage
Details tab
This tab features the Order Cancellation Log, which provides crucial details for investigating specific cancellation instances. The log includes:
- Order Date: The date when the order was placed
- Location Name: Name of the location
- Order Number: The order ID from the ordering platform
- Ordering Platform: Platform from which the order was placed
- Cancellation Category: The cancellation category could be POS Error Cancellations, Avoidable Store Operations, Customer Cancellations, or "NULL" if the reason is unclear or not mentioned.
