Where is my Online Ordering Logo?
Restaurants using Direct Orderin can choose where their online ordering homepage logo (pictured below) redirects when clicked.
Where should my Online Ordering Logo redirect?
Are you having trouble deciding? The most common selections and reasons why a restaurant may choose them are as follows:
Logo redirects to your Direct Orderin online ordering 'homepage'
Goal: If your primary goal is to drive online orders, redirecting the logo directly to the online ordering page ensures that visitors remain contained within the platform where they can place orders.
Promotions: Directing customers back to your online ordering homepage may increase the visibility of any deals or promotions you may be running within the Direct Orderin platform that may not be visible on your restaurant's website.
Navigation: This approach assists customers in streamlining their navigations, consistently providing them with a clear path to return to the initial starting point of your online ordering experience.
Logo redirects to your Restaurant's website
Goal: If your primary goal is building brand awareness and customer connection, redirecting to the company website enables the exploration of brand history, values, and interactive brand experiences, such as access to company blogs and social media channels.
Exposure to other services: Direct Orderin offers a comprehensive suite of products, but if your restaurant offers additional services, such as allowing guests to make table reservations, you may want to provide this easy access if a customer changes their mind and decides to dine in.
Guest Experience: Direct Orderin's workflow displays essential restaurant information such as locations, hours, and contact details, but for a first-time guest unfamiliar with your offerings, your restaurant's website may provide a more comprehensive experience before they are ready to place an order, with menu overviews, special announcements, and additional contact forms.
