How Catering Deposits Work

Some restaurants take a deposit instead of full payment for a catering order at the time of booking. Direct Ordering supports this when the restaurant team places the order in the Direct Ordering Admin Panel.

Adding a Deposit to a Catering Order

To add a deposit during checkout, enter the deposit amount in the Deposit line and proceed with the payment.

After the deposit is collected, the catering order goes through the approval process and then the review process at the store level.
