Available Order Types
When ordering Digitally, you have the option to enable the following Order Types for your customers:
Walk-in
Pick-up
Delivery
Group Ordering
Outpost
Catering
Gift Cards
Donations
Establishing the Order Types available at your restaurant
To control the Order Types a customer can choose from when ordering digitally via Direct Ordering (web or mobile app), follow these steps:
In your Direct Ordering Admin Panel
Go to Settings (gear icon) > in the User Experience section > Order Types
Drag & drop your desired order types into either the Hidden or Displayed columns
Click Submit to save your changes
Limiting the Service Types available at my restaurant (for 1 or multiple locations)
For brands that want to offer specific Order Types for 1 or multiple locations (such as Dine-In/Walk-In, Pick-up, and/or Delivery), you'll need to navigate to each Store and accompanying Revenue Center to make the desired options visible to customers. At the Revenue Center level, these are labeled Service Types.
Note: Service Type visibility for Revenue Centers (Dine-In, Pick-up, Delivery) will override the Brand's Order Type visibility.
Disclaimer: This feature is only relevant for Checkmate integrated stores.
For example, at Store A, you want to offer delivery services but are not ready to offer delivery at the rest of your locations. In this scenario, you keep Delivery available at the brand level using Order Types, but enable Dine-In and Pickup ONLY at the Store's Revenue Center.
In the following scenario, Pick-Up is the only Service Type being made available for a single Store's Revenue Center:
Note: This feature is very helpful when testing and launching new Stores and newly available Service Types.
