A location may go offline for various reasons, including:
-
The ordering platform marks a location (or a group of locations) offline - This might happen due to high wait times or an unexpected closure
-
When Checkmate turns a location (or a group of locations) offline, this might happen as a precautionary method when an outage occurs due to POS, internet, or any other integration-related issue.
In these situations, Checkmate Portal gives you visibility of the status, a possible reason for it being set offline, and a recommended solution that can fix the issue on Checkmate Portal.
You can also opt to receive an email notification for that location both when the location goes offline and when a location gets back online. update your email preferences here.
If your account has access to more than one location, you can also see and filter locations based on their offline status.
Note: Currently, this feature is only available for Uber Eats and DoorDash.
