To manage the flow of orders in alignment with your operational status, our system provides the functionality to set your location offline. This action automatically adjusts the opening hours in the system, ensuring that no orders can be placed until you decide to go back online.
Configuring Offline Settings
Below are the settings you can apply to manage your location's offline status:
Start of the Next Open Day: Your location automatically resumes operations at the beginning of your next scheduled business day.
After [x] Hour(s): Designate a specific duration, after which your location will revert to online status.
Custom Date and Time: Choose an exact date and time for your location to become online again.
Offline Indefinitely: Keep your location offline until you manually change it to online.

Platform-Specific Offline Management
Grubhub
Going offline on Grubhub allows you to specify a time to go back online, maintain menu hours, and indicate the location as temporarily closed, but the location remains searchable and visible on the Grubhub marketplace (unless the location or ordering platform is marked offline ”indefinitely”).
Once the location is marked offline, the “ASAP” orders (immediate) cannot be placed, but the customers can still place future orders based on when the location will go back online.
Note: We advise against using the "I will mark it available manually" option for Grubhub because it will remove your location from the marketplace. Instead, choose a future date to ensure your location remains listed. Using the "offline indefinitely" option will remove the location from the marketplace, making the menu(s) invisible.
Uber Eats
Uber Eats has an API endpoint that allows locations to be set offline without altering the location's operational hours. Locations appear unavailable in search results but prevent the placement of new orders.
The images provided below demonstrate that while menu items remain "visible" on Uber Eats, they are marked as "Unavailable," allowing customers to view the items without the option to place orders.
Additionally, customers can see the store's menu hours, yet the location will be indicated as temporarily closed, clearly communicating the current operational status.
DoorDash
Setting your location offline on DoorDash allows you to maintain menu hours and mark your location temporarily closed. This setup enables future orders to be placed after the offline period, keeping the location searchable and visible on the DoorDash marketplace.
Other Ordering platforms
Adjustments to opening hours for other ordering platforms are made via the Checkmate portal, ensuring that your store is shown as closed for the chosen duration.
The appearance of your location’s offline status may vary across platforms. Below are images of how your location's offline status is represented:
