When making changes to kiosk or menu-related settings in the Direct Ordering Admin Console, it's essential to perform a menu refresh to ensure your updates are reflected.
This applies not only to menu modifications but also to any adjustments made in the Kiosk Settings section, including Dine-In settings, Menu Settings, Item Settings, Checkout Settings, deal display, and more.
This procedure can also be used to renumber a kiosk that may have been assigned the wrong number
Follow the steps below for the Kiosk menu refresh:
Step 1: Tap on the top right corner of the kiosk screen. This action takes you to the kiosk selection screen.
NOTE: We are transitioning the method to activate this hidden button from the top left to the top right of the screen. As of Mar 2025, we are in the process of updating customer apps with this change so there may be a time when either will work
The press will also require a long press (press the top corner and hold for 2-3 seconds, then lift your finger)
This change is being made because sometimes the button was mistakenly activated by customers
Step 2: Click on the appropriate kiosk number. If you operate multiple kiosks, ensure you select the correct one.
Step 3: After selecting the kiosk number, the system will return to the start screen and display the updated settings.
