The “Sync with POS” function under the “Actions” menu allows locations with a Direct Sync integration to instantly sync their POS with Checkmate and push those changes to integrated ordering platforms.*
What Happens When You Click “Sync with POS”?
Clicking “Sync with POS” performs the following actions automatically:
Syncs your integrated POS menu(s) with Checkmate
Syncs the POS prices for those menu items
Pushes the updated menu and prices to your integrated ordering platforms (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)
How Long Does It Take?
This process usually takes 5 to 10 minutes, depending on:
Menu size
Number of active requests across the Checkmate system
Current platform load
Why You Shouldn’t Use “Push to OP” Manually
Clicking “Sync with POS” automatically handles both the sync and push processes. Afterward, you do not need to manually click “Push to OP.”
During the automatic push, the manual “Push to OP” button will be temporarily disabled to ensure data consistency and avoid errors caused by overlapping operations.
Attempting to manually push during this period can cause sync failures or inconsistencies in how your menu appears on ordering platforms.
Who Can Use This?
The “Sync with POS” function is available only to locations using Direct Sync integration.
Some exceptions may apply based on POS limitations or integration scope.
