What is Orders Management?
Orders Management in Checkmate efficiently tracks and processes various types of orders. Designed to streamline operations from order entry through fulfillment, this system offers real-time updates and extensive management capabilities. Here’s why order management is beneficial:
- Real-Time Tracking: Provides immediate updates on order status, enabling effective operational management.

Orders Table Overview
All orders are updated in REAL TIME. Once orders are received by ItsaCheckmate and transmitted to the POS, they appear on the Orders Page with statuses such as COMPLETED or EXCEPTION.
Upon completion of processing within our system, each order will display the following details:
- Source: Ordering platform from where the order was placed.
- Order ID: The unique ID of the order from the ordering platform.
- Order Date: When the order was placed.
- Order Due: Expected completion time for the order.
- Subtotal: Total amount of the order.
- Customer: Name of the customer.
- Status: Current status of the order.
- Action: Specific actions available for managing the order (applicable only to DoorDash and ezCater for incomplete or pending orders).
Understanding Order Statuses
The system categorizes orders into several statuses to provide clarity on their processing stage:
- All Statuses: Comprehensive overview of all order statuses.
- Created: Assigned to past orders for historical information purposes.
- Pending: Awaiting action to proceed.
- Accepted: Order has been approved and is in preparation.
- Rejected: Order has been declined.
- Completed: Order has been fulfilled successfully.
- Active: Currently being processed.
- Processing: In the process of execution.
- Unknown: Status not clearly defined.
- Error: Issues encountered during order processing.
- Cancelled: Order has been cancelled.
- Inactive: Not currently active.
- Checked in: The order has been checked in.
- Failed: Possible failure in processing.
