In the Payment and Dining Options set up step during Onboarding, you will be prompted to answer whether you’d like to send tips in with the online orders.
Note that ordering platforms normally only send tips through only if the restaurant staff is legally entitled to the tips (ex. For traditional pick up orders or when the restaurant staff is physically delivering the order to the customer). If the ordering platform, itself, is providing the delivery service, tips on these orders will NOT be included on the order that is sent into your POS.
If you’d like the tips that the ordering platforms include on orders to be sent through into your POS, select YES. If not, please select NO.
