Doordash FAQs

When a DoorDash integration is activated, sometimes the original DoorDash menu will remain on the platform in error in addition to the newly integrated Checkmate menu (viewable within the Checkmate Portal).

There are two ways to get the duplicate menu removed:

• Creating a support ticket within your DoorDash merchant portal requesting that the duplicate menu be removed.
• Calling DoorDash on their dedicated support line requesting that the duplicate menu be removed.

Follow these steps to raise a support ticket:

1. Login to your DoorDash Merchant Portal and select the appropriate store (e.g., Saucy's Sandwiches & Wraps (Happy Valley)).
   
2. Select the old menu to be deactivated.
   
3. Select Menu Hours on the old menu.
   
4. Delete the store hours on the old menu & save.
   
5. You will see only one active menu on DoorDash. Customers who order online from this location on DoorDash will see the correct menu by default.
   
6. Select “Request Menu Update” on the old menu (located at the bottom right of the screen).
   
7. Select the store from which the duplicate menu needs to be removed. Once all the stores are selected, click on the Update Store button.
   
8. Fill in the Menu Update form and submit it once completed. Add the following note in the menu update form:
   ”NOTE: If the stores have a linked menu, please unlink the Checkmate integrated store menus. No changes should be made to the non-Checkmate integrated store menus.”
   
   

The DoorDash menu team will normally take 24-72 hours to process this request.
