Within the Checkmate Portal, the user can manage different types of permission(s) listed for each user. Permissions define the scope of access that a user has been granted/limited to by the master user.
Note: You might not be able to view all the above-listed permissions. It would only be visible if you have access to that permission(s).
Below is more detailed information about these permissions:
Menu Permissions
Add Items or Modifiers
Provides access to the “Edit Menu” mode and allows to create a new category, item, modifier, and modifier group. You can do so by clicking Actions > Edit Menu > Edit Menu in the top right corner
Edit items or modifier names
Provides access to the “Edit Menu” mode and further permits to edit categories, items, modifier groups, and modifiers. You can do so by clicking Actions > Edit Menu > Edit Menu in the top right corner.
Edit Item Description
Provides access to the “Edit Menu” mode and further permits to edit the item description. You can do so by clicking Actions > Edit Menu > Edit Menu in the top right corner.
Upload/Edit photos
Allows to edit/upload the pictures for the item(s).
Edit Tax rate
Allows you to edit the tax rate for any item in the Checkmate Portal. Hover over the tax rate and click on the pencil icon.
Edit modifier group Min/Max
Provides access to the “Edit Menu” mode and further permits to set the minimum and maximum modifier selection in the modifier group. Hover over “Min” or “Max” and click on the pencil icon.
Edit Price elevation percent
Allows editing the price elevation percent for a location.
Sort Menu Items
Allows sorting the menu items within the Checkmate Portal.
Delete menu items or modifiers
Provides access to the “Edit Menu” mode and further permits to delete a category, item, modifier group, or modifier. You can do so by clicking Actions > Edit Menu > Edit Menu in the top right corner.
Toggle Menu Item Availability
Allows to mark a category, item, modifier group, or modifier as available or sold out in the Checkmate Portal.
Push, Pull, and Revert Menu
Provides control to the following buttons available in the navigation bar of the Checkmate Portal:
Push to Ordering Platform(s)
Withdraw Changes (Revert to last pushed menu)
Sync with POS
Location Permissions
Create Brand
Provides permission to “Add a brand” within the Onboarding Portal.
Create Location
Provides permission to add a location under a brand within the Onboarding Portal.
Manage Location
Provides access to the Location Management and Menu Management pages.
View Onboarding
Provides read-only access to view the locations in onboarding.
Note: You will not be able to interact with any step using this permission. Also, you will NOT be able to add “Brand” or “Location” with this permission.
Note: You will only be able to view the onboarding task list of a location but cannot take any further action.
Manage Onboarding
Provides access to the Onboarding Portal. Within the Onboarding Portal, you will be able to view all the locations that you have access to, but you will not be able to create a brand or location without that specific permission.
Update Kitchen Prep Time
Allows editing the Kitchen Prep Time basis the requirement.
Note: You can view all three types of hours i.e., Kitchen prep time, Delivery Hours, and Special Hours, but every user cannot edit the hours unless they have been granted permission.
Update holiday hours
Allows editing the Special/Holiday hours.
Note: You can view all three types of hours, i.e., Kitchen prep time, Delivery Hours, and Special Hours, but every user cannot edit the hours unless they have been granted permission for the same.
Update Delivery hours
Allows editing the regular delivery hours.
Note: You can view all three types of hours i.e., Kitchen prep time, Delivery Hours, and Special Hours, but every user cannot edit the hours unless they have been granted the permission for the same.
Toggle Store Status
Allows to mark a location as Online/Offline on a location level or at an Ordering Platform level.
Users Permissions
Manage Users
Provides the permission to view the Manage User Access UI and further utilize it to create/edit users within the Checkmate portal.
Delete Users
Allows to delete users in the User Management page within the “Manage User Access”.
Partner Permissions
View referrals
Allows to view all the referrals sent in the partner portal. However, you will not be able to take any further action.
Create referrals
Allows to create a new referral and send again a previous referral in the partner portal.
Other Permissions
Accounting Reconciliation
With this permission, you can access the Accounting Reconciliation tool by Checkmate.
