What is the POS to Statement Bridge Report?
It provides a comprehensive view of how sales in your POS are converted into funds deposited in your bank account. Each column and its sub-components represent either an addition or subtraction to the POS Receivable, ultimately leaving you with the Ordering Platform’s deposit.

POS to Statement Bridge Report - Terminology
Column Name | Column Definition |

BRAND | The brand name that owns the restaurant. |
LOCATION | Name of the store or restaurant. |
ORDERING _PLATFORM (OP) |
Third-party online ordering platform. |
EXPECTED_POS _RECEIVABLE |
The expected gross sales of all the transactions in the Point Of Sales. This includes net sales, tax and gratuity. Expected POS Receivable = Expected POS Sales + Expected POS Tax + Expected POS Gratuity |
STATEMENT_REFUND _AND_ADJUSTMENTS |
All refunds and adjustments as per the online ordering platform statements. This is a sum of net refunds and adjustments, refunded taxes, and out-of-period refunds (both sales and deposit period). Statement Refunds and Adjustments = Refunded Sales and Adjustments + Refunded Sales Tax + Out of Period Refunds and Adjustments (Net) Refunded Sales and Adjustments = All Refunds and Adjustments + Refunded Sales on Orders in OP statement but not in order Processing Refunded Sales Tax = All Sales Tax from Refunds + Refunded Sales Tax on Orders in OP statement but not in order Processing + Refunded Withheld Sales Tax (When Not in POS) Out of Period Refunds and Adjustments (Net) = Out of Period Refunds + Out of Period Adjustments Out-of-Period Refunds = Receivables from Out of Period Refunds in Sales Period + Receivables from Out of Period Refunds in Deposit Out-of-Period Adjustments = Total Sales/Fees from Out of Period Adjustments in Sales Period + Total Sales/Fees from Out of Period Adjustments in Deposits |
SALES_DIFFERENCE _DUE_TO_ELEVATION |
Any difference in the net sales resulting from the difference in elevation percentage in the point of sales when compared with the statement transactions. |
TAX_DIFFERENCE_ DUE_TO_ELEVATION |
Any difference in the tax resulting due to the difference in elevation in the point of sales when compared with the statement transactions. |
REMAINING_SALES _DIFFERENCE |
The difference in sales amount as a result of other reasons than refunds, adjustments, or elevation. This includes other income to the restaurant, sales from multiple transactions at the Point of Sale, sales from transactions that failed to reach the point of sale, and other reasons. Remaining Sales Difference = Other Income to Restaurant + Refunded Sales on Orders in OP statement but not in order Processing + Sales from Multiple Transactions in POS + Sales from Transactions not in POS + Sales Difference from orders in order processing but not OP statement + Sales from Orders in OP statement but not in order Processing |
TAX_ON_REMAINING _DIFFERENCE |
The tax difference as a result of the sales difference amount caused by other income, transactions not in point of sales, multiple transactions, etc. Tax on Remaining Difference = Refunded Sales Tax on Orders in OP statement but not in order Processing + Tax from Multiple Transactions in POS + Tax from Transaction not in POS + Tax Difference from orders in order processing but not OP statement + Tax Difference from Orders in OP statement but not in order Processing |
OUT_OF_PERIOD_ RECEIVABLES_NET |
The payout for out-of-period transactions. i.e., transactions that occurred outside the selected date range but were paid out during the current period. This also includes the out-of-period cancelled but paid orders. Out of Period Receivables = Out of Period Receivables (Deposit) + Out of Period Receivables (Orders) Out of Period Receivables (Deposit) = Receivables from Out of Period Orders in Deposit + Receivables from Out of Period Cancelled (Paid) Orders in Deposit + Receivables from Out of Period Cancelled (Not Paid) Orders in Deposit Out of Period Receivables (Orders) = Receivables from Out of Period Orders in Sales Period + Receivables from Out of Period Cancelled (Paid) Orders in Sales Period + Receivables from Out of Period Cancelled (Not Paid) Orders in Sales Period |

WITHHELD_TAX_ OP_STATEMENT |
Sales tax an ordering platform withheld to pay in jurisdictions with marketplace facilitator laws of the state. Withheld Tax (Ordering Platform Statement) = Sales Tax Withheld (if not in POS) + Ordering Platform Withheld Taxes |
DEPOSIT_OVER_UNDER | The difference between the deposit calculated and the deposit amount reported in the ordering platform statements.
