Before signing up, ensure you have access to your POS backend and ordering platform merchant portals with menu edit access. Your POS and ordering platform menus should be up-to-date and active, and all menu items on ordering platforms must have a record on your POS.
Signing up with Checkmate is simple! Request a demo and connect with our sales team to get started. Provide your information here, and our team will guide you through the entire process, including setting up your brand, adding restaurant locations, and completing the onboarding process.
Yes, it would be best if you had your POS and desired Ordering Platform set up before signing up. You can add more Ordering Platforms later, but at least one is needed to begin.
Onboarding and Setup
The setup typically takes 7-10 business days, depending on your responsiveness and the organization of your POS and ordering platform menus.
The onboarding process may require gathering information from your POS company and ensuring your menu is set up correctly. Depending on your responsiveness, the process can be expedited.
Your active participation can significantly speed up the onboarding process. Once we have the initial information, our team handles all mapping via our cloud-based software. We encourage involving your POS or ordering platform reps to assist us further.
Account and Portal Access
To log into the Checkmate Portal, click here. Enter your email address and password, then click the "Sign In" button.
Each client receives a 14-day free trial that begins the day you 'Go live' with your first ordering platform on Checkmate.
Pricing and Plans
Checkmate treats Ghost Kitchens the same as traditional locations. You will be billed for each account separately if your Ghost Kitchen operates under a different name and menu on the same ordering platform.
You are not restricted to one plan. You can change your integration plans anytime, and pricing will adjust according to your current number of platforms.
Technical and Support
Checkmate integrates directly with your existing POS equipment and does not require additional tablets or printers. Orders are automatically accepted and printed in the kitchen, and you manage your API-integrated menus through the Checkmate Portal.
During onboarding, you will provide us with your 'best menu,' which we will standardize across all integrated ordering platforms.
