When a DoorDash integration is activated, sometimes the original DoorDash menu will remain on the platform in error in addition to the newly integrated ItsaCheckmate menu (viewable within the ItsaCheckmate Portal).
How do we get the Duplicate menu removed?
There are two ways two get the Duplicate menu removed:
Creating a support ticket within your DoorDash merchant portal requesting that the duplicate menu be removed.
Calling DoorDash on their dedicated support line requesting that the duplicate menu be removed.
How to Raise a Support Ticket on DoorDash Merchant Portal
Login to your DoorDash Merchant Portal and select the appropriate store. (Saucy's Sandwiches & Wraps (Happy Valley) as an example here)
Select the old menu to be deactivated.
Select Menu Hours on the old menu
Delete the store hours on the old menu & Save.
Now you will see only one active menu on DoorDash the other will be closed. The customer who orders online from this location on DoorDash will see the correct menu by default.
Select “Request Menu Update” on the old menu. (This is at the bottom right of the screen)
Select the store from which the duplicate menu needs to be removed. Once all the stores are selected, click on Update store button.
Fill in the Menu update form. Submit the form once completed.
Add the below note in the menu update form
NOTE: If the stores have a Linked menu, please unlink the Checkmate integrated store menus. No changes should be made to the Non-Checkmate integrated store menus.
The DoorDash menu team will normally take 24-72 hours to process this request.
