Menu Push Failure Error

Menu Push Failure usually occurs when an item with required modifiers is made available. However, the necessary modifiers are marked as out of stock in the POS for Direct Sync integration or within the Checkmate Portal for Legacy integration. As a result, the item is made available on the online menu, but the modifiers required to select it are not available.

For Example, an item called Cheese Pizza has a required modifier category, “Choose a Size” for Small, Medium, and Large. If all the modifiers in the category "Choose a Size" are marked as out of stock rather than the item itself, it will result in a Menu Push Failure.

To troubleshoot the Menu Push Failure Error, follow either of these steps:

• Mark the item with required modifiers as out of stock in the POS system for Direct Sync Integration or within the Checkmate Portal for Legacy Integration.
• Mark the required modifiers for the individual item as available in the POS system for Direct Sync Integration or within the Checkmate Portal for Legacy Integration.
