For Direct Ordering to successfully send newsletters, marketing emails, and order confirmations to your customers, the "sender" email addresses must match your website domain. For example, if your website is www.http://myrestaurant.com , all sender email addresses must end in @http://myrestaurant.com .
Popular "sender" email addresses for these fields are:
info@
contact@
orders@
catering@
It is advised to ensure each "sender" email address that is designated within Direct Ordering has an associated email inbox configured with your domain provider.
There are two categories of "Sender" email addresses within Direct Ordering:
General - General "sender" email addresses are configured at the Brand, Store, and Revenue Center levels, where each level's configurations override the one that precedes it. These "sender" email addresses are specifically designated for certain customer communications, such as newsletters and marketing emails.
Confirmation Email "Senders" - Confirmation Emails are exclusively linked to individual orders placed by customers online. Confirmation Email content and "sender" email addresses are currently configured solely at the Brand level. They can also be configured uniquely to Order Type (Online Ordering versus Catering).
Again, it is crucial to emphasize that all "sender" email addresses must consistently end with your website domain (i.e. centralpark@http://myrestaurant.com or centralparkcatering@http://myrestaurant.com ) in order for them to function properly.
