To take advantage of Checkmate's Refunds Dispute Management feature, you will need to create a dedicated DoorDash login. The steps to create a DoorDash Login for Checkmate Refunds Dispute Management are :
Step 1: Log In to the DoorDash Merchant Portal
Log in to your DoorDash Merchant Portal using your administrative credentials.
Step 2: Access User Management
Navigate to the Settings section in the DoorDash Merchant Portal and Click on Manage Users.
Step 3: Add a New User
Click on the + Add User button to start the process of adding a new user.
Step 4: Define User Role
Select a role for the new user. To ensure smooth functioning, select the ”Business Admin” Role.
Step 5: Assign Email Address
In the email address field, input the email address. This will serve as the login email for the Refunds & Dispute Management feature in Checkmate.
Example 1 - For Franchisors:
The email address should be in the format:
“rd+<BrandName><FranchisorName>@itsacheckmate.com”.
For Example: If your Brand name is Cheesy and your Franchisor/Corporate name is FranchCorp , the email address would be “rd+cheesyfranchcorp@itsacheckmate.com”.
Example 2 - For Independent restaurants:
The email address should be in the format:
“rd+<BrandName>@itsacheckmate.com”.
For Example: If your Brand name is Cheesy, the email address would be “rd+cheesy@itsacheckmate.com”.
Step 6: Save and Confirm
After entering all the necessary details and setting the permissions, click Save or Create User to finalize the new user creation.
